QOTA vs HUEL

Sodium (Salt) comparison

In 2017, the Australian Government identified Australians' sodium intake levels as a priority given the relationship between sodium intake and blood pressure.

Hypertension is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease and there is convincing evidence that as sodium intake increases, blood pressure increases.

The Australian Government recommends that Australians reduce our current levels of sodium intake to 2000mg/day. The World Health Organisation (WHO) also recommends that adults reduce their sodium intake to 2000mg/day.

QOTA Vanilla powder contains 314mg of sodium per 100g.  Each serve of QOTA Vanilla powder has 20% RDI of sodium while providing 25% RDI of energy. Huel Vanilla powder contains 710mg of sodium per 100g.  Huel has 44% RDI of sodium while providing 25% RDI of energy.
